HOW
TO STOP YOUR GOLF BALL BEING ATTRACTED TO WATER!
How come your ball
plops in the water when you were so determined to avoid it? The answer
lies in the most elemental law of physics: like attracts like. Just
as the Law of Gravity is universal, so is the Law of Attraction - it
doesnt just apply to golf, it applies to life. So how does it
work?
Everything in the
world is made of energy and since energy is actually vibration, that
means everything that exists vibrates. It does so at different frequencies
some energy vibrates fast like high musical notes and some vibrates
slowly like low notes. Unlike tones from a musical instrument though,
the energy that flows out from our emotions (which come from our thoughts)
creates highly charged electromagnetic wave patterns or energy
we are literally walking magnets! Whatever were thinking and hence
feeling is what were vibrating, and whatever were vibrating
is what were attracting.
When you concentrate
on missing the water what youre concentrating on is the water
and feelings of anxiety that the ball might go in the water. The result
is to be expected you get the water! Whenever we focus on what
we dont want, guess what we get!
What to do?
-
Take
a deep breath in and then breathe out all thoughts of water. (e.g.
how you have to miss it, how its right in the way, how big it
is, how difficult it will be to miss it, how many balls youve
lost in the water to date, how your shot went in the water last time,
how fed up you are with losing balls...)
-
As
you breathe in, concentrate solely on where you want the ball to land.
-
If your mind drifts back to the water bring it firmly back to your
target, visualizing the trajectory the ball will take - NOT THE TRAJECTORY
YOU DONT WANT IT TO TAKE!
-
Let
yourself already feel exactly as you are going to feel when the ball
drops precisely on target.
